Dry desulfurization is an effective desulfurization method to remove the hydrogen sulfide (H2S) in biogas gas. It is a relatively low-cost method that is generally suitable for desulfurization of biogas with low concentration. The oxidation of H2S into sulfur and sulfur oxide is accomplished by using O2, also referred to as dry oxidation.
